Stripes never go out of style - they fit beautifully in traditionally decorated schemes, whilst also looking complete at home in uber-modern interiors. They can be used as a bold statement (think brightly coloured, candy stripe drapery) or subtly, almost like texture to tie a scheme together, (perhaps a thin ticking stripe). It's just about finding the right stripe for you!
Stripes are constantly being reinvented - every time it seems that the humble stripe has been explored in every possible iteration, something new comes on the scene: a watercolour textured swash, broken with contrasting colours, the possibilities seem to be endless!
This moodboard explores some modern stripe designs from some fantastic designers, I also love the various blue shades with pops of yellow and soft pink! Of course all the fabrics come in many beautiful colours, but these are some of my favourites :)
